I drove yesterday by road, from Lagos to the East. China virus has done a lot of damage to both the lives and the economy of Nigeria. All the eateries along the way and most of the businesses which rely on travelling citizens for daily bread are comatose. All the major passenger transport companies with branded vehicles are comatose. One can only imagine the ripple effect of this sudden economic downturn on the ancillary beneficiaries of daily bread. The Federal Government of Nigeria on Monday suspended an airline for conveying Naira Marley to Abuja for a concert.
